31 Days of Praying for Your Husband
I've really had a wonderful start to praying daily for my husband. Don't get me wrong - I always pray for him but sometimes not on a certain topic. As I have posted before about the 31 days of prayer for our children, I thought I would to post a site that is helping me. If you will look to the right side of my blog there is a button for 31 Days of Prayer for Your Husband. Its really easy. Go sign up and the emails will get sent to you daily to help you concentrate on what you need to pray for.
Day 8: Attitude
Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus , who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. {Philippians 2.5-7}
Even as one’s attitude can change at the drop of a hat, I pray that my spouse would have a constant attitude of humility and grace. I pray that he would have the same attitude that Christ displayed while on earth – one that seeks the best for others before thinking of himself.
Day 9: Emotions
…take every thought captive to obey Christ.
{2 Corinthians}
God, I thank You for creating us to be emotional beings. I thank You for the wide range of emotions You have given us for expression. I pray that You would cause my spouse to learn to control his emotions, expressing only those emotions that are honoring to You, and confessing with repentance when his emotions have gotten the better of him.
Just a glimpse of what you will find... Go on and pray for your husband.
